A Miami native, Melina Tsalikis' installations combine investigations of identity and exploration of multisensory information. She questions how childhood experiences build a person, and if we can get to the foundation of one's personality through memories brought on by touch, smell, and sound.
Tsalikis has shown work in the Florida International University Miami Beach Visual Gallery and the Laundromat Art Space. She earned her BA from Florida International University in 2016. Tsalikis is currently enrolled in FIU's MFA program and will complete her graduate degree in 2024.
