Art Basel: Miami Beach

The Bonnier Gallery will make its Art Basel Miami Beach debut this December

with four never-before-exhibited paintings by Lynne Golob Gelfman (1944-2020). The solo presentation in the fair’s Survey sector brings together canvases made in New York in 1967, revealing an early exploration of the shifting relationship between figure and ground that would recur throughout her career.

The presentation will be on view at Booth S5 in the Miami Beach Convention Center, with VIP Preview Days December 2-3 and public days December 4-6, 2026. Made seven years before Gelfman’s first solo exhibition in Miami in 1974, the paintings offer a rare view of her early New York practice before her move to South Florida.
