Miami Art Week is already in full swing across the county as the international Art Basel fair in Miami Beach prepares to open its doors Dec. 5-7.
The economic footprint of the week continues to grow, with a recent analysis finding that Art Basel and its surrounding programming are expected to generate about $565 million in spending across South Florida through visitor travel, hospitality and event activity.
Sotheby's, Bonnier Showcase
One Sotheby's International Realty and The Bonnier Gallery will present a public Art Week exhibition through Dec. 8 at the brokerage's Miami Beach office at 119 Washington Ave., Suite 102. The show will feature a selection of works by artists including Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Willem de Kooning, Alex Katz, Ed Ruscha and others. The collaboration coincides with Miami Art Week and marks a rare opportunity to view pieces from several prominent 20th- and 21st-century artists.
